The 'Parterre' has been identified as by Josué Rossier, in Olivier's Médecine dans le Pays de Vaud au dix-huitième siècle, Vol. I, p. 455.
Inside the upper cover is the signature of 'Duhon, Juge de Paix à Vévey' in a late 18th cent. hand: there are a few receipts by the same scribe.
