Description
This film shows with the aid of experimentation on the spleen of a sheep and various other animals its physiology. When the spleens are removed from the animal, their volume can be measured. A series of experiments are then performed to show the effect on spleen size of exercise, injury, surgical shock, pregnancy and lactation. Captions are in French and the graphs are annotated in English.
