About this work
Description
Disability at the Atlanta paralympics and at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Athletes are interviewed about drugs testing at the Paralympics which seems to have been taken seriously. At the Edinburgh Fringe several plays - Common Ground, The Gift, and The Ubiquitous Dishcloth, Love the Earth with Hiroshima - have involved disabilities, inspiring different reactions from the disabled. Back to Atlanta, where athletes feel those with learning disabilities were not integrated or helped sufficiently.
