Illustrated London News, 7th October 1922: "A curious "baby-carriage": a prize-winning travouis at Lake Windemere in British Colombia": the photograph was taken during the celebrations at the recent opening of the David Thompson Memorial Fort at Lake Windemere, British Colombia, and shows the winner of a prize for the best travouis, a primitive type of Indian wheel-less vehicle. The fort was opened and the prizes presented by Lady Margaret Boscawen, sister of Lord Byng, the Governor-General of Canada
