Description

According to the lettering, the seat was used as a military camp stool; the candelabra was in the Portici gallery in Naples; the bowl was in Villa Albani in Rome, as was the dagger; the Roman standard was shown on (the base of?) the column of Antoninus Pius in Rome; the torch shown in a bas relief in the Capitol was used in nocturnal Dionysiac celebrations
