About this work
Description
The first in a three-part series in which biologist Armand Leroi discovers how studying congenital abnormalities can reveal new information about human development. The first part is about the size we are. As well as meeting giants, dwarfs and castrati, whose histories we trace backwards through time to some of the most famous out-sized people, we also look at diseases which can affect growth such as Arnold's Syndrome and Fibrodysplasia Ossificans Progressiva.
