Description
Abrégé de la pharmacie théorique et de ses opérations. Divisé en trois livres avec un petit traité chimique. Le tout suivant Messieurs Cheneau [sic] et de Meuve. This MS. contains only the 'Pharmacie théorique'. At the end is the preface and first page only of the 'Opérations'. This work was first published in Paris in 1660. De Meuve was the author of a 'Dictionnaire pharmaceutique' issued also in Paris 1677-1678. The name of L'Emery (i.e. Nicolas Lemery [1645-1715]) is also mentioned in the verses on the verso of the first leaf. On fol. 74, at the end of the text: 'Hastier scripsit Lugduni 1707'. On the first leaf in red: 'Ex libris Antonii Gonnet 1707'. Title and headings in red. Produced in Lyons.
