Alexander Paul Swanson, LRCSI, LM, LAHDub 1890, received his medical training in Ireland. He joined the RAMC, rising to the rank of Lt-Col, and received a Territorial Decoration. He became Honorary Senior Surgeon at the Hospital for Cancer and Skin Disorders, Liverpool, and Honorary Consultant Dermatologist at the Liverpool Radium Institute. His entries in the Medical Directory indicate that he probably died in the late 1930s.
