The art of medicine.

Ken Arnold, head of public programmes at the Wellcome Trust, introduces a forum about the art of medicine, in collaboration with the Art Fund. This was the first event hosted at Wellcome Collection in its newly refurbished building at 183 Euston Road. Alicia Senior (Alicia M Senior-Saywell) talks on behalf on the Art Fund and 'Art Happens' events strand. Also on the panel of speakers were neurophysiologist Dr. Mark Lythgoe, artist Christine Borland, University Hospitals Arts Curator Guy Noble, and Art and Science author Siân Ede who discussed the place of art in the medical world and medicine in artistic practice.
