Wear reports : research into Hypertension.

Dr Nick Ashton, lecturer at the University School of Health Sciences, Sunderland, has just received a grant from The Wellcome Foundation, to carry out research on the link between breast feeding and hypertension. Studies on rats in the US have shown that nursing mothers with hypertension, can pass the condition to their offspring through breast milk.
