John Kay of Bury, a Lancashire worthy. This portrait is most respectfully dedicated to the right honourable the Earl of Dartmouth by his lordship's very humble and obedient servant Tho.s Sutcliffe. Drawn by W. Physick from the original.
Creator/production credits
The publisher of this print Thomas Sutcliffe, a soldier of fortune in South America, was a great grandson of John Kay and promoted Kay's legacy
