The date 1730 appears on the first fly-leaf, and below 'Ex libris Demetrii Zabanow scripsit propria manu anno 1737'. The signature is repeated under this, but spelt 'Zebanow'. Armorial book-plate of Joannes Cook M.D., who is perhaps John Cook M.D., of Leigh, Essex, who died in 1777 as recorded in Musgrave's 'Obituary', Vol. II. Library label of Robert Steele [1860-1944], Wandsworth Common.
