The burial vault at Holyrood abbey, Edinburgh. Centre, James I in prayer, crowned and robed. Beyond him is the tomb with an effigy of his father, Henry Stuart, Lord Darnley. Right, Darnley's parents and brother: Matthew Stewart, 4th or 13th Earl of Lennox (1516-1571)-; Lady Margaret Douglas, countess of Lennox (1515-1578); and Charles Stewart, 14th Earl of Lennox (-1576).
