Notes

European paper. 7 lines. Text in red frame, approximately 3.8 x 7.3 cm. Black ink. Red headings. Catchwords. Original leather binding with flap decorated with a centrepiece (shemse).
The inscription placed above the main text runs as follows: (fol. 2b): Ex. Bibl. Reisachiorum. 1809. There is also a tag inside on the binding cover: Libellus arabicus cum turcicus. Ex. Reis. 3. Feb. 820. No.2.Q.to.

Language note

In Arabic and Ottoman Turkish; Naskh script with vocalisation.
