As NO LEGISLATIVE action having reference tt the sanitary condition of the Port of Londo ; has been taken since the date at which thi Report appeared, I am induced to think tha its republication may assist the advent c measures calculated to prevent the spread c< epidemic diseases in the ports and harbours c Great Britain. No apology can be needed ii publishing a detail of defects that have jus resulted in the perpetuation of one epidemic and will as surely and as completely assist th coming of another. H. L.
