Biographical note
The cases are mainly ophthalmological. The author was the son of Jonathan Hutchinson [1828-1913], and was elected F.R.C.S. in 1884: he was appointed ophthalmic surgeon to the London Hospital Medical College in 1898.

With typed presentation letter, signed and dated 7/7/1965 from William John Brownlow Riddell, professor of ophthalmology at Glasgow University.
