About this work
Description
The first item on the programme is about how people from Scotland or the Orkneys may have traces of Viking ancestry in their DNA. A new 2.3 million pound project aims to understand how this genetic variation will shed light on the nations's genetic ancestry and the complexity of genes linked to common human diseases like diabetes or heart disease. The second item is about the development of a silent aircraft.
