Box file containing items of ephemera in acid free sleeves, arranged alphabetically by manufacturer: L-Z.
The leaflets are mostly advertising beds for hospitals but also include bathing and patient lifting equipment, anti-pressure and floatation pads (to prevent bed sores), book supports (for reading in bed), urine bottle holders, ripple mattresses, a Weylux baby weighing machine, J.&H. Lieberg's "Neversick" Injections-Spritze (syringes) for urethral lavage in cases of gonorrhoea (Kassel, 1904 - including a small engraving of their 1802 factory) and a similar one from H. Unger (Friedrichstrasse, Berlin) - the "Bequema" model, Newton & Co. Ltd. (optical & scientific instrument makers : 1942), Philips 'Metalix' x-ray machinery (1951), Mme Vve Van Wichelen hygienic articles (Bruxelles : 1921), Roche Pathology Workstation (DNA analysis).
