About this work

Description

Frank Rowntree, Sheffield's Health Education Officer, discusses tuck shops in schools. He believes that if a child has a good breakfast they shouldn't need a mid-morning unhealthy snack unless they are merely giving into peer pressure. This kind of snack leads to dental problems as well as contributing nothing nutritious to the child's diet. He recommends more healthy snacks in the tuck shops.
