Lettering attached to the print is on a separate sheet and reads: "Double-sided clavicular frakture and right-sided humerus fracture. ... Flat pelvis ... Previous confinements spontaneous. - Now: first position of head, long duration of birth, non-entry of head. Version and extraction, liberation of arms and extraction of head very difficult on account of size of child. Girl ... died of asphyxia. Upper body of the strongly developed female child. The right clavicula in the middle, and the left in the acromial part, broken. On the left is a fracture ad longitudinem; on the right the jagged fractures are only a little displaced. The right-hand strongly developed humerus shows in the middle of the diaphyse a fractura ad peripheriam with slight displacement of the pieces of bone outwards. The distal epiphyse is to be seen in its whole breadth, as the under fracture has slightly turned outwards on its axis longitudinalis. A splinter reaches from the upper fracture along the side of the lower one."
