Leaflet for a two day event of talks and discussions accompanying an exhibition called 'Skin' at Wellcome Collection (183 Euston Road, London) on 15 and 16 July 2011. "Dirt has long been a potent label for deviance and taboo, applied to those who dare to transgress social boundaries. Where does this powerful stigma come from?
