Description

A leaflet advertising Mr. Thorley's new supply of Narbonne honey from France (recommended by the late Dr. Fothergill for "preventing coughs, colds, fevers, consumptions, &c."). He had an apiary in Walthamstow and shops at 40 New Bond Street and 29 Lombard Street, London and supplied honey to the royal family (the coat of arms for one of the hanoverian King Georges is at the top of the leaflet). Probably early 18th century.
