What you'll do
Join us to explore and celebrate how our brains think, explore and imagine. In these family events, come and celebrate the diversity of our brains and through a range of activities, understand how we all differ in how we like like to think, learn and explore. Through coding, virtual reality, circuits and sound orchestras, pop-up performances, making and tinkering with immersive environments, you'll exploring the mind through your senses, body, movement and emotions.
On the Friday session, the BBC’s CAPE crusaders will join in for an Our Brains and Our Futures session. Explore everyday challenges in new and unexpected ways; you may even discover your very own super power during the turbo charged future focused, fantastical making and creative problem solving extravaganza.
About your hosts
These sessions are run by the Institute of Imagination, a charity creating space for children to re-imagine the world. Their goal is to spark imaginations everywhere and encourage creative learning through events, training, partnerships and research.
Where we'll be
You'll find us on Level 5 in the The Hub, a dynamic interdisciplinary research space where people from different backgrounds and with a range of expertise collaborate on projects exploring medicine, life and art. You can take the lift or the stairs from the ground floor.
