What you'll do
In this practical workshop led by artist Demi Nandhra, you’ll craft your own personal care plan to help you survive and thrive. We’ll consider how caring for ourselves can disrupt systems of oppression when it is rooted in everything that we do. Make care an immovable part of your life.
During the session you will be encouraged to write down or voice record your thoughts and ideas. Your camera, microphone and 'chat' function will be available throughout the session, but you do not have to contribute. The event will be live captioned by Stagetext.
This workshop is for everyone, but content will centre on the experiences of neurodivergent and disabled people of colour.
The workshop has a maximum capacity of 15 people. There will be a waiting list once the event is fully booked, so please let us know if you can no longer attend.
This event will be hosted through the videoconferencing platform BlueJeans. After booking a ticket, you will receive a confirmation email with joining instructions.
‘Making Care Immovable’ is part of Bloomsbury Festival (16–25 October 2020).
